An "Idle" Murder - It is a very special night. After 6 months of competition, two finalists are ready for one final showdown on the smash-hit reality TV show "American Star." Clay Caldwell is the heavy favorite to win the competition and the national recording contract that comes with the title, but that's only because his opponent is so bad he must be tone deaf. With the government launching an investigation into reality TV fraud and the final showdown coming up, everything is on the line.

I Know What You Did Last Father's Day - A scandal rocked the popular TV show Father Hasn't a Clue at the end of the season last June, when squeaky clean Bobby Young, the show's star, was arrested for bank robbery. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the Family Television Network, as the new actor hired to fill the lead role in this nostalgic look at the 1950's has brought new dimensions to the character, and ratings have never been higher. Will the good times last? Why does everyone seem so nervous on the set?

Every actor and agent in Hollywood would kill to secure the next Ian Strong movie, and maybe, just maybe, one actually will.

He says he'll unveil the next great literary masterpiece, but few in attendance believe it can be so. Critic H. Pickering Snootboggle only came for the chance to tear apart yet another of De Plume's books, but there's something different, and perhaps even supernatural about this tale.

Typhoon Fever - It's 1933 and we are on a ship that is about to venture into the unchartered waters of the South Pacific. Captain Mazda is commanding the ship with a very odd assortment of crew and passengers. There are two scientists, one is searching altruistically for the source of hurricanes, and one is searching for a new source of oil, not so altruistically. In the matter of very odd, an adventurous filmmaker, Todd O'Day, is on board based on stories the captain insisted were true about certain islands. On the more practical side, F. Polizei is the first mate who ensures that egos and large agendas do not interfere in the dangerous waters. Polizei however, has no apparent past. Whatever your reason for taking this cruise to the unknown, it is our wish that you do not succumb to typhoon fever.

Will and imposter cause a scandal among the high IQ circuit?

Halloween - There is a legend about a young man named Warren Fitzgerald. Some say that he haunts the area. Perhaps Maude, Warren's former housekeeper, can shed some light on the happenings since his tragic death so long ago. Or a better source might be her henpecked husband, Peter. The beautiful Grace Delovely is here for the first time in quite a while and she seeks answers from Willie Porter, a one time railroad engineer, who an now only ride a train if he buys a ticket. Richard Tracey, the new cop in town, still has an open case left to him by his father. He would love to close the case, especially on the anniversary of Warren's death. However, an anniversary that may involve the supernatural may not be the safest night for any of us.

Now that CGI and motion capture are all the rage, it appears that the old fashioned "cartoonists" have more power than the old movie moguls. A new and different motion picture industry attracts an unusual and sometimes nefarious breed, reserved in most other cases for actors. How will Dr. Z., CEO of Quixote, handle the various temperaments or is thier another agenda? Will the typical hyperactivity of a children's show ooze violence over the edges of the screen and give us an animated murder?
