BLACK-EYED SUSAN MURDER MYSTERY DINNER CRUISE

2008 Season Schedule

Sunday, April 27th - An Idle Murder
It is a very special night.  After 6 months of competition, two finalists are ready for one final showdown on the smash-hit reality TV show "American Star."  Clay Caldwell is the heavy favorite to win the competition and the national recording contract that comes with the title, but that's only because his opponent is so bad that he must be tone deaf.  With the government launching an investigation into reality TV fraud and the final showdown coming up, everything is on the line.

Sunday, May 19th - An Unbridled Murder
It's the day before the first jewel in horse racing's Quadruple Crown:  the Delmonico Stakes.  The favorite to in (at 5 - 3 odds) is a newcomer named "Gonna Be Glue."  Even though this is his first race, Glue has developed quite a following, but not everyone is a fan.  There may even be a plot to "take out" the colt before the big race.  Will someone kill to protect Glue?

Sunday, June 22nd - 'til Death Us Do Part
Welcome to the wedding reception of a famous millionaire businessman and his very young and beautiful bride.  Is it true that he once dated her mother?  How does she feel about giving the bride away?  Some people have traveled a long way to see this wedding NOT take place.  Has our lovely bride signed the prenuptial agreement?  Sit back and see who gets their "just desserts!"

Sunday, July 27th - Shake, Rattle and Die
In the heyday of Rock N' Roll, there's no bigger star than Buddy Lee Lewis.  He's in the midst of a 48-state tour, and he's the #1 concert draw in America.  His bank accounts don't reflect that success, however.  Where have the millions gone?  Is Buddy's manager, Will Cheatham, really looking out for the star's best interests?

Sunday, August 24th - Murder by 9 (8 central)
A reality TV series is the backdrop for this whodunit.  Will someone resort to murder to win the $1 million cash prize?  Will the network sacrifice everything for ratings?  And, what do "pants" have to do with the latest reality TV craze?

Sunday, September 21st - Dead Heat
The election of 1954 has been marred by mudslinging and name calling.  The election pits Francis Monroe of the People's Old Obstructionist Party (POOP) against Blythe Jefferson of the Liberty, Independence and Reform (LIAR) Party.  The campaign money will be flying, but a political scandal may derail one of the campaigns on  the eve of the election.

Sunday, October 26th - The Vampire Strikes Back
In his day, Boris Meyer was the king of monster movies.  His portrayal of vampire Count Fangula frightened millions, but in 1951, Meyer couldn't take the typecasting anymore and retired to a reclusive life at his secluded manor in the Hollywood hills.  In the 25 years since, he emerged only one time, with disastrous results:  in 1971 he was behind the wheel of a car that struck and seriously injured a famous Hollywood director.  Now, there's word that Boris will make his first public appearance in a quarter century, as horror fans gather for "Fright Fest '76."  Will the demons of Boris Meyer's past come back to haunt him?
